Holiday Fundraiser Attachment
Greetings from Mystic Farm Wildlife Rescue, Inc. With the holday season in full swing, I hope this finds everyone healthy and full of good cheer! All is well at Mystic Farm. The fawns are on their own. Though they do come back for an occasional check in, I see less and less of them each week…and fewer of the original group! A few of them have joined up with a couple of the established herds in the area. I’m happy to report that all are fat and healthy. Success is sweet Each year at Mystic Farm, an area of the rescue is identified as being in need and promoted for the holiday fundraiser. After “running the numbers”, I have seen that there is great need for additional funds to be put towards veterinarian care and supplies (this spring birthing season alone I spent well over $1000 towards medical care and supplies). Unfortunately, many of the little ones that arrive at Mystic Farm are in need of medical attention: casts, splints, dressings, antibiotics, special diet, topical ointments – and in some cases, surgical intervention or euthanization. I have found many area veterinarians and techs to be awesome in contributing as much as possible, but they have expenses, too. As I have said before, as rewarding as it is, wildlife rescue doesn’t come cheap! You may want to consider contributing in someone’s name. This is a great opportunity to gift a child, for example, the sponsorship (and teach stewardship) of our wonderful wildlife. Please read the attached flyer and feel free to pass it along to anyone on your email list. Thank you so much for your continued support. I couldn’t do any of this without you! Merry Christmas to each of you. Dory Mystic Farm Wildlife Rescue, Inc. Mystic Farm Wildlife Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit, 501 (c) 3. All cash contributions are tax deductible.
